Band

The Siouxland Christian School band program exists to glorify God through the use of the musical gifts that He has given to us. An introduction to musical instruments begins at the Elementary level and proceeds to focus on specific instruments selected by students at the Middle School levels. Students at the Middle School levels are also encouraged to participate in the Heelan Band Olympics which serves as an excellent chance to experience performing in front of a judge. At the High School levels, students further hone their skills and performances through Honor band and State competitions. All of the music programs are based on the foundational principles of hard work, perseverance, and expression.

All students are afforded the opportunity to demonstrate their hard work through Winter and Spring performances and at the weekly Middle and High School chapel services.
