What do you do at Siouxland Christian?

School Counselors have an important position. I help students in working towards academic excellence. I also work on social emotional needs with students.

Is there a Bible verse or quote/saying that you live your life by?

Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

These verses are a good reminder to spend regular time in prayer. They are also a reminder that God will guide us in our decisions when we submit to him.

If you could pass on any wisdom to our students, what would you share?

Don't be afraid to participate in new things. School programs are an opportunity to meet new people and develop new interests.
