What is your connection to Siouxland Christian School?

I attended Siouxland Christian when it was Morningside Christian in elementary school and then attended public school. I know our school will provide a premium education and fertile soil for my children to grow into the path God has set for them. I have 3 children attending, Ben and Ruby Wing and Charlie Day. I also have 2 step children, T.J. and Leah Day. I have lived in and served our area my entire life. My background is nursing. In 2011 I left nursing to work with my husband, Jeff Day, at our towing company, Meier Towing.

What most excites you about the future of Siouxland Christian School?

What excites me about the future of Siouxland Christian School is the growth, because my hope is that we are producing as many lights as we can, that are shining so brightly wherever they go in the world.

If you could pass on any wisdom to our students, what would you share?

You are attending a Christian school, that does not mean you are a Christian. You need to own your faith. If you are feeling alone, Christ is the perfect friend, your perfect parent in an imperfect world, he is the only one that can save you, and all he wants in return is you to commit your heart to him.

Is there a Bible verse or quote/saying that you live your life by?

For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

God made us just the way he wanted us. He has equipped us with everything that we need to fulfill the plan he has set out for us, as long as we are asking for His guidance to do His will. I am so excited for every day because I know I am going out to fulfill His purpose!
