What is your connection to Siouxland Christian School?

My wife Stacia and I have four children at Siouxland Christian. Teagan, Taya, Daxton, and Dekker.

What most excites you about the future of Siouxland Christian School?

I am excited about the growth and opportunity the school has to positively influence the students and families in our community.

If you could pass on any wisdom to our students, what would you share?

When you go out into this world and as you continue in your education, know who you are, who's you are, and do not be defined by what you do as a vocation. Be a shining light in all you do in all areas of your life.

Is there a Bible verse or quote/saying that you live your life by?

Proverbs 22:1 A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold.

James 1:2-3 Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.

How do you incorporate the SCS mission statement into your position on the school board?

Giving the school over to God as he has entrusted it to us to steward over it. I want to be sure Christ is reflected in all that we do within our walls and in the community.

What inspires you?

People who want to make situations, and people, around them better by not always doing the popular thing, but the right thing in the eyes of Christ.
