
Katie Trimble
Katie Trimble received her B.S.E from the University of South Dakota in Elementary Education with a reading minor, kindergarten endorsement, and an early childhood endorsement. She later went on to receive her M.S.E from Wayne State College in Curriculum and Instruction with an endorsement in English as a Second Language. This past year, she has received her Early Childhood Administration Units through UCLA. Mrs. Trimble has taught for six years in the South Sioux CIty Community School District. During her time with South Sioux she taught English as a Second Language (PK-5th Grade) and first grade. She also served on the district Curriculum Council in partnership with Marzano Research Laboratory to reanalyze state standards and curriculum for the state of Nebraska and South Sioux School District. From there, she was selected to serve as a Nebraska state representative to write the ELPA21 assessment for English language learners in the United States.
Three years ago, the Lord opened a door for her family to move to California and work in education out in Thousand Oaks, California. In California, she served as an academic trainer at Oaks Christian Middle School and also taught preschool which later led her to become a preschool director at a private christian school (Pk-12th grade).
Mrs. Katie Trimble has a heart for Christian Education and early childhood education. She is excited to partner with Siouxland Christian School to see tremendous growth! Mrs. Trimble is thankful to all the families, students, and staff at Siouxland Christian who are the light to this community and believe in the legacy of a lifetime of learning!
