What do you do at Siouxland Christian?

I teach 5th grade! My position is important because I'm shaping the minds of the wonderful students who walk through my doors. Also, I get to tell them about Jesus every day!

If you could pass on any wisdom to our students, what would you share?

The most important thing in life that you could come to understand is the Gospel. God made us to have a perfect relationship with Him. However, we sin and that separates us from God. The Lord, in His perfect love for us, sent His only son to live a sinless life on earth and die in our place, paying the debt that we owe for our sin. Then Jesus rose from the dead three days later, defeating death! So, if we repent of our sin and put our faith in Jesus as Lord, we will be saved and have a restored relationship with God!

And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28: 18-20

How do you incorporate the SCS mission statement into your job?

I make sure to incorporate Biblical values into every subject I teach while modeling Christ-like behavior!

What inspires you?

I love listening to podcasts and being in nature! Also, the Bible inspires me!
