How do you incorporate the SCS mission statement into your teaching?

By showing them how to treat others with my actions. Modeling how to love like Jesus. Smiling and treating them kindly, calling them by their names, being that light in such a dark world.

Why did you want to become a teacher? Why do you teach at Siouxland Christian?

Because teachers changed my life by being there for me in the hardest time of my childhood. I also love to provide extra love and attention for students who need that extra attention in their lives.

What inspires you?

The look on the kids' faces when they feel proud of themselves.

What is your favorite lesson to teach in your class?

Anything messy!
