If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you say?

Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.

Why did you want to become a teacher?

I have always loved teaching others new things, so naturally becoming a teacher was the right fit. After graduating from college, I desired to move back closer to home and teach at a Christian school. Siouxland Christian reached out with an opening and I jumped at the opportunity. Teaching at Siouxland Christian has been so fun and I have loved it so much!

Is there a Bible verse or quote/saying that you live your life by?

1 Corinthians 13:13 “But the greatest of these is love.” Everything we do in this life needs to be done in love, showing Christ through our actions.

In which other teacher's class would you like to enroll, just for a day? Why?

I would love to enroll in Yearbook for the day. I like scrapbooking and yearbook is similar to that so I think it would be something I would enjoy doing.
