If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you share?

Maya Angelou said it best with, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."

What is your favorite lesson to teach in your class?

I love teaching about the process of how bills do or do not become passed into law. Our class votes on their own President, Vice President, and Speaker of the House as the rest of the class is either part of the House of Representatives or Senate. Together we role-play our own school bills to see if they will become law.

Is there a Bible verse or quote/saying that you live your life by?

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here I am. Send me.'"

What inspires you?

My dad! He’s one of the most talented educators I know. I have learned so many different aspects of teaching through him.
